Hello my darling,
So, I was driving today and this came to me.
I finally found the words to describe how much I love you, how much you mean to me. The words have eluded me for so long, and now I finally have them.
I was afraid all day that I would forget them by the time I got home to write them down.
You see so many people say I would take a bullet for you, or die for you.
In most cases death is but a vapor of time and relatively short. It just seems like, oh, I would take 5 seconds of my life to no longer live, all for you. It seems so cliche. To me it doesn’t really hold much meaning.
Not like the ultimate act of love ever shown to date was.
That ultimate act of love was when Jesus died for us on the cross. He carried that extremely heavy cross after being lashed beyond point of recognition, and then was nailed to the wood he had to carry so many miles in pain. No other form of torture would ever come close to this amount of pain. He did that because of his love for everyone.
I thought of that, and how he did that for everyone, and I finally had words to describe the extent of my love for you.
I would go through that extreme pain, in every way shape and form he did, if only to know you would be kept safe. I would go through that, because the only thing in the world I care about is you, you and our little one.
And while they say heaven is a place free from pain and suffering, I have a feeling my heart would ache every day until I got to be with you again, yet I would rejoice in the fact that my two favorite people in the world are safe.
And while I finally have the words to explain it, I still don’t think this fully explains the vast expanse of how deep my love is for you, my dear.
For now, this shall do, it shall do.
I love you two, oh so very much.
